Look at the test case in viewsource:
   http://www.bath.ac.uk/%7Epy8ieh/m/xml-namespace-viewsource.xml

There is a line which reads:

    <test:p test:class="hello"> View the source. </test:p>

...but when you look at it in source view, it shows up as:

    <test :p test:class="hello"> View the source. </test:p>

Note the extra space before the ":p".

It does not appear to be a problem with the viewsource stylesheet in html.css.
