Description

I'm working on a IRC client based on Chatzilla.

In M13 chatzilla worked if I used this preference setting

pref("security:checkxpconnect", false);

In M14 Chatzilla doesn't work and complains like this:

JavaScript Error: uncaught exception: Access denied to XPConnect service.

But in M14 the preference settting "security:checkxpconnect" is not

availible in the preference files. So I tried to add this setting to the

all.js preference file, but Chatzilla still doesn't work.

Is this a problem in xpconnect or chatzilla ?

Also, chatzilla is missing from "Tasks" menu in M14.

The pref is security.checkxpconnect ("." instead of ":"), but it shouldn't be
necessary anymore. Chatzilla runs from a chrome:// url now, and chrome urls get
access to xpconnect by default.

Unfortunatley, Chatzilla doesn't start up in current builds due to bug 29053.

It'll be put back in the tasks menu soon (hopefully for m15.)
