the buttons order should be close tab and then cancel - not the other way round.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open some site in ff.
2. open a different site in a new tab in same ff. 
3. click X of the main ff.

Actual Results:  
the buttons order should is cancel and then close.

Expected Results:  
the buttons order should be close tab and then cancel.

if a person does some action and is prompted/asked a question of does he want to continue, it is but obvious that what he wants should be the 1st choice.

if you want to marry, does the priest ask "blah-blah" and then give the option "no i dont, yes - i do"?

it is a basic common sense that what a person wants to achieve should be the 1st option.

the "close tabs" button is highlighted by default. this itself shows that you agree with the logic. so what's with this stupid idea of exchanging the button order?

That's the Gnome order - see bug 233456 and bug 230642.

well... then change the order. that's no reason for your product to behave badly.

and i dont know where does gnome come into picture when i am using kubuntu?

Firefox is built using GTK and (mostly) following the guidelines with regards to Gnome. This bug is WORKSFORME since we're placing the buttons just fine.
