Details

I have M14, build 2000022820.
1. Go to browser.
2. Choose Edit, Preferences.
3. Choose Mail and news, Window settings.
4. Choose the right setting (two panes in upper half of window, message text in
lower half.)

The pref is saved, but not used when you go to Mail/news.
