This is a feature request for Moz 1.7.12 browser.
Please can you make it so that the filename is showing, and not the start of the URL. eg http://localhost/my/path/to/server/root/docs/test/ does not mean alot to me.
I would rather see the end of the URL with the specific file name in view.
Like path/to/server/root/docs/test/file1.php
As I use progressive file naming conventions for testing purposes, it can get a bit confusing if I think file3.php is loaded, when in reality, I still have file2.php in the browser. Konquorer 3.3 uses this way of displaying the currently loaded file.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.N/A
2.
3.
Actual Results:
N/A
Expected Results:
Would like to see the last part of the currently loaded file in the location bar - not the first part of the URL, without the filename.

do you mean when the URL bar is too narrow to show everything?

Well, yes. I need to see the filename of the URI, not the http://localhost/pathname, without the filename. It's quite obvious what the protocol and pathname are, as I have that showing already in my editor.

please don't re-quote the whole bug
What about the rest of the world that doesn't have the editor up editing the page? And if the hostname/protocol is not shown by default, we would be totally vulnerable to all sorts phishing scams.

I'm new to Bugzilla, sorry about posting the whole feature request. Hope this works OK now!
Fair comment. Maybe this could be an option set in preferences, so the user can make their own choice?
Personally, I would prefer to see the filename-end of the URL. I find it helpful to know what file I have loaded in the browser.
Kind Regards
