I was on Mac OS X using Apple Safari to download ff, for some reason I was redirected to a ftp.something.de server which served a file by the name of "Firefox 1.5rc3.dmg.html". Since FTP doesn't come with metadata, Safari interpreted it as an html file which was a page of garbage text.
This may be a bug in Safari, but it impacts the ability to download firefox.
