RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 102380

Details

I have mozilla set to use Acrobat Reader as a standalone external viewer. The acvrobat plugin is disabled. But right-clicking a link to a pdf and seleting 'Open Link in New Tab' is second nature. When doing this on a link to an Acrobat pdf, the result is an empty and unnecessary tab that should not have been opened in the first place.

Either the tab should be suppressed for content for external viewers, or the menu items should change to 'Open new Link with External Viewer' (which would require a HEAD prefetch to determine mimetype. hmmm.)
Dup of bug 102380 or bug 241972.
