Crash Data
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051123 Firefox/1.5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051123 Firefox/1.5
The other day I added the following entries in my 'hosts' file in an attempt to speed up Firefox:
127.0.0.1 a.as-us.falkag.net
127.0.0.1 red.as-us.falkag.net
127.0.0.1 sel.as-us.falkag.net
127.0.0.1 spe.atdmt.com
127.0.0.1 view.atdmt.com
127.0.0.1 ak.buy.com
127.0.0.1 ad.doubleckick.net
127.0.0.1 image.ebuyer.com
127.0.0.1 nfong.freestats.com
127.0.0.1 altfarm.mediaplex.com
127.0.0.1 img.mediaplex.com
127.0.0.1 amch.questionmarket.com
127.0.0.1 www.softwareandstuff.com
Specifically this was to speed up the Tech Bargains page: http://www.techbargains.com/
Now when I come to my computer in the morning, Firefox has crashed. Given that the big change is that now the many iframes on Tech Bargains display the XUL 'site not found' page (a nice addition overall), and that the Tech Bargains page auto-refreshes, I suspect there might be something in the (simultaneous) display of so many instances of this error page over and over.
Reproducible: Always

Robert, do you still see this with recent 1.5.0.4 or even 1.5.0.5 nightly builds?

Is this still an issue in Firefox 3.5?
