When sunbird loads remote calendar on startup, the wait could be very long, and I always ask myself if something is happening or if SB crashed. Maybe this should be a good idea to show that SB is working with a progression bar or shaking the throbber :-)

It was decided in bug 323952, that this is an important issue that we should evaluate after that bug is fixed. So, I'm going to confirm this to more accurately reflect that decision. And I'm going to make this bug depend on bug 323952.

I know this is an old bug, but this is proving to be a little annoying with the latest build. In Sunbird, Loading my remote calendars can take a good 30seconds and I keep thinking sunbird has frozen. 

Also it appears that after a calendar has been loaded, it disappears and then doesn't reappear until all the other calendars have been loaded. In the older builds once a calendar was loaded it would stay and as more calendars loaded they would be added; is this a regression?

I'm sorry if these bugs are being addressed elsewhere.

Similar to the way Thunderbird shows a Throbber on loading folders, I think we could do the same for our calendars. This shouldn't be limited to startup though.
