i ran sudo -s, forgot what was going on, and then popped up X. everything was strange - so i opened firefox and went searching. then i realized that i was root, so i logged out and logged back in - then firefox was strange. i got the error reported in bug 248326 - a window popped up to tell me that all my extensions were disabled. i logged back out yet again, ran chown -R me:me on .mozilla, and still my extensions were not okay.
Reproducible: Didn't try
