Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Currently it is a pain to deal with new messages in a large number of subscribed folders. I have about 80 subscribed email folders. Scrolling up and down the folder list to find folders with new mails is annoying, time consuming and counterproductive. At the top of the folder list there should be a subtree "New Mails in subscribed folders" that show dynamically all folders that have new unread mail. A folder disappears from the subtree automatically when there is no new mail and appear in the subtree when there is new mail. Mulberry has this very handy feature which make a lot of people stick with Mulberry before migrating to Thunderbird. Reproducible: Always

Probably a dupe against David's implementation of bug 251296?

sure, dup. However, we're not currently planning on going with the sub-tree approach - we're going to have different folder views and you switch between them with a menu. Because we're going to have four or so different folder views, we can't show them all at once. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 251296 ***
