In bug 308120 we made moving a direct anonymous child elsewhere in the DOM throw. This is however not the ideal behaviour, such moves should be perfectly fine. This bug is about fixing that.

It may or may not be easier to not do this for XBL1 though, and instead just write things the right way in XBL2.

XBL is now disabled in Firefox (Bug 1583314) and is in the process of being removed from Gecko (Bug 1566221), so closing bugs requesting changes to its implementation as wontfix.
