User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20051024 Firefox/1.0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20051024 Firefox/1.0.7 Mozilla.com reads: "The award-winning Web browser just got better. It’s free and easy to try. Join the millions of people worldwide enjoying a better Web experience." The problem is "It's free and easy to try." Me, as well as enough people on MozillaZine <http://www.mozillazine.org/talkback.html?article=7736> agree that this statement, well, sucks. It makes it look like it's free to try Firefox. Which implies it's not free to use Firefox. Which is /bad/. *Very* bad. Like, the reason Opera sucked bad. "It's easy to try and free." sounds better, but there's still English issues... But in any event, rewording it is going to really be needed, because when I saw this, being the smart person I am, I thought "uh. wait. Firefox can't cost mone...oh..nevermind". Looking on eBay, you can see some idiots already think that Firefox costs money, and it surely can't help things for that misleading statement to be there. I don't think Critical is what this should be marked, but it does need to be fixed as soon as possible, sooo.... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to mozilla.com Actual Results: Saw misleading statement Expected Results: Saw statement that got the point across that Firefox is easy to try, and free to try, without implying that it's not free to use.
