User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Navigate to www.myrewardzone.com. Notice incredible slowdown while trying to type in the login/password boxes. Launched Task Manager to find firefox maxing out the CPU. Firefox didn't hang, but everything is really slow Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch firefox 2. Type myrewardzone.com in addressbar and hit <Enter> Actual Results: Windows Task Manager reporting 95% CPU utilization constantly. Can't do anything else. Expected Results: Firefox should load the page and not hogging up resource
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051130 Firefox/1.5 ID:2005113003 Works for me.
I've noticed this sort of anomoly as well. My system seems to "hitch" sporadically - I'll be typing in word processing software and my system will freeze (sometimes for as long as 20-30 seconds) every so often. I'll pull up Task Manager, and a firefox process will be taking up a lot of CPU time. I can't seem to be able to reproduce it, so it only happens under certain circumstances. I'll also add that I have yet to see it happen with the latest version - though I've only had it for a few days now. Is there any way to put some kind of a CPU monitor on my system? I wish I could be more helpful - sorry. wylbur ========================
