318768 - Images display outside window when switching tabs

Firefox 1.5 -- Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5

A image downloaded in another tab is offset from its correct position and actually sticks outside the boundaries of the Firefox window.

Steps to reproduce:
1.  In Firefox>Preferences>Tabs, uncheck "Select new tabs opened from links".
2.  Go to the URL provided above.
3.  Cmd-click on the link "Page 1".
4.  Cmd-click on the link "Page 2" (immediately).
5.  Wait for tabs to indicate they've finished loading.

In this example, the second and third tabs each display a URL of type image/tiff.

Appears to be independent of the "Resize large images to fit in the browser window" setting and the size of the window.

This sounds a lot like bug 313821, except that you didn't mention any scrolling (the TIFFs are loaded by QuickTime).

You're right.  I've reproduced Bug #313821 and it behaves exactly the same way, except that a video is harder to get rid of that a static image because it keeps refreshing itself (the TIFF image goes away if you tap F12 twice), and that this bug (318768) can only be reproduced with multiple tabs. I did not move the window, and there was no scroll bar.

Multiple tabs works for reproducing Bug #313821 as an alternative to moving the window or scrolling, but this bug (318768) only seems to be reproducible with tabs.

We can mark this as a duplicate, as far as I'm concerned, as long as tabs are added as a regression test case when these bugs are closed.
