It remains in just the originating tab. Keyboard Shortcuts remain unaffected unless they involve the Spacebar as part of the shortcut. The workaround for this is to reload the page (in the same tab), if that doesn't work then go to another site and then navigate back to the original site. Reproducible: Didn't try
It would be helpful to get a test URL and some more detailed steps to reproduce this problem.
