After Im getting "Canconfirm" I fall in the misstake to fill every bug "New" cause it was mentioned. After some informations about how to fil bugs ... ;-)
Im now useing "unconfirmed" again ... ;-)
Maybee b.m.o should allways mention "unconfirmed" or bugzilla should save the last state of "Inital State" I used to preventing me from useing "new". ;-)
The patch for this bug should probably not hard-code "UNCONFIRMED"/"NEW", since we'll probably have custom resolutions and stuff in the future. Just save the last state used when filling bugs, and reuse it.
