we use a program called "skyward" to register attendence and grades in our school district. When going to the program, a new window is automatically created without a status, bookmark, and navigation bar. In Safari, I can go to the view menu and turn these bars on (i want them on because i like to use the skyward page as a tab). In Firefox, i go to the view menu and try to turn them on and they will not appear. They toggle between checked and unchecked in the view pulldown tab, but they never appear. So then, if I use other tabs, there will be none of these bars.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to the local skyward page and log in
2.new window without toolbars appears
3.pulldown view menu --the toolbars are checked
4.toggling them in the menu causes no change

Actual Results:
new window without toolbars.

Expected Results:
the three toolbars should appear

the work around is to leave the skyward page in its own window and do everything else in a different window

I would like to confirm this bug. I am currently using a beta of v4 on Mac OS 10.5.8 on a PowerPC (dual g5). For all versions beyond 4b3 (eg, 4b4, 4b5 and 4b6) I get the same behavior with the exception of if I uncheck and recheck the toolbar in the view menu, upon rechecking the toolbar, it will display. Also, when I get the toolbars to display, the toolbars will display when opening a new window. If there any of the toolbars that are missing, they will be missing in the new window, even if the toolbar is checked. Upon unchecking and rechecking the missing toolbar, it will then display.
Apologies, need to make a correction. I thought I was in 4b6 and was in 4b3, which does not have this issue. I wish to modify my posting above as follows:

I get a similar behavior with ONLY the BOOKMARKS toolbar, with the exception of if I uncheck and recheck the BOOKMARKS toolbar in the view menu, upon rechecking the toolbar, it will display. Both the Navigation toolbar and the status bar display properly. Also, when I get the BOOKMARKS toolbar to display, the BOOKMARKS toolbar will AGAIN NOT display when opening a new window, even if the BOOKMARKS toolbar is displayed in the current window when opening a new window. Upon unchecking and rechecking the missing BOOKMARKS toolbar, it will then display.
