User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5

Starting Firefox the first time will result in nothing else than having the task somewhere running. Stopping it with taskkill /f /im firefox.exe and starting it again does result in a directly opened firefox...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Firefox
2. Wait indefinitely (I tried it for 30 min)
3. taskkill /f /im firefox.exe
4. Start Firefox

Actual Results:
as under details

Expected Results:
an more or less immediate starting FireFox of course :o)

Works for me. Might be possibly caused by some extension. Does is also happen with disabled extensions or in Firefox's safemode?
