Fortunately was able to startup laptop and messages were there and resent. Have no idea what caused deletion-- briefly saw message that file could not be found (apparently where inbox is stored, I think). No obvious virus, or worm was detected, and .wmv runs fine..afterward) Reproducible: Didn't try
your virus checker almost certainly deleted the inbox, and its contents. We recreate the inbox (empty) automatically when this happens, but we can't stop the virus checker from deleting the file...there is an open bug about trying things to deal with this.
