User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 When a pdf file is contained on a secure site (https), you cannot right-click on the link to save the file. If you do right-click, the file will attempt to save without logging you into the secure site. In other words, right-clicking and saving the link should prompt a logon box that allows you to log in to the site. It does not however, and so it attempts to partially save the file. When you go to where the download was saved, and then try to open it, you get an error message stating that the pdf has either been corruped or moved. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Under default setup, go to any pdf file on a secure site (like www.brisnet.com) 2.Try to save the file by right-clicking on it and select "save link as" 3.Go to the location where the pdf has been saved; it will not open. Actual Results: When going to the location where the file is stored, and trying to open the file, an error message appears stating the pdf has either been corrupted or moved. Expected Results: Firefox should have prompted a log on box to appear once you right-click and select "Save Link as". Without logging in, the file will not download. Yet firefox does not give the user an option to log in.
