When I try to quit I get the message "2 downloads in progress, sure you want to quit?", but when I look into the download manager there are no files listed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download an extension and then get the network to pause the download somehow 2. 3. Actual Results: dialog on quitting Expected Results: the system should automatically terminate the download and try again when I restart firefox.
Did you disable automatic extension installation (i.e. set xpinstall.enabled to 'false') long ago (due to a security issue, since resolved) and forget to set it back? I did. As briefly mentioned at bug 310737, the fix/ workaround is to go to the URL about:config to check/fix. (Tip: Then use "Filter" to search for xpinstall.enabled.) Marking as dupe. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 310737 ***
