When I open a page containing a Java applet, I see the Java splash with the progress bar.  While that is shown, I can't switch tabs, use buttons, or otherwise make Firefox do anything useful.  I can open menus, but cannot take any actions.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Open page with Java applet.
2.  While the applet is loading, attempt to switch tabs.

Actual Results:  
Nothing happens.

Expected Results:  
Switch to another tab.

I tried it out with these steps to reproduce (slightly different for I have no login on playsite):
- Load in one tab http://www.google.com/
- Load in another tab http://www.jigzone.com/z.php?k=2F4GIDD8
Result: while loading you can't change tabs (at least not all the time)
This is a regression between 1.8b4_2005080408 and 1.8b4_2005080421.

This bug seems fixed in 2.0. Anyone to confirm?
