This has been going on through most of Mozilla, since closing Netscape 7.2.

I'm also getting form some site that Windows Media 10 does not exist & referred to the download page.

HOWEVER< I'm not have any of theses problems with Netscape 7.2.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Got a a site wit streaming video.
2.Click on a video stream.
3.Look at screen.

Actual Results:  
It doesen'd play.

Expected Results:  
It should play.

They work fine with Netscape 7.2.

This bug has two parts: The thing with AOL/NEtscape Player is a Tech Evang issue, they don't officially support Mozilla Suite or SeaMonkey, only NS7.2/NS8.x and FF.

If you can reproduce with SeaMonkey v2.0a1pre, file a new/separate bug per issue.
