User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 Every time I open the browser over 160 websites pop up. The number gets greater the more images I click on and view. Many of the websites just read (about)and are blank. I had a similar problem with Explorer and it was a Highjacker but I was told that Highjackers could not get into Mozilla.I need a fix fast if that is possible, I hate having to close all those websites everytime I want to look up something on the internet.Once the browser even crashed, it has only done it once so far. I am running Windows XP(service pack 2). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.connect to internet 2.double click on Mozilla icon 3.when browser comes up it starts filling with all the websites Actual Results: The websites started popping up. Expected Results: It should have gone to my homepage Google.com.

Does this happen in firefox's safemode? - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode Are you using a session saver extension in firefox? Hijacking spyware can't install itself on the sly through firefox (unlike IE), but if you already have spyware installed, and it's running and waiting for you to open a browser window before it does it's stuff, then obviously firefox can't do anything about that situation..
