Current splash screen of SeaMonkey looks too unprofessional:

 * selected font type looks so similar to base fonts for MS Office like Tahoma,
   SeaMonkey by such font can't be perceived as logotype, it's just word in 
   common font as Times, Arial, ...
 * futhermore spacing between letters is ugly, for example space between "M" and 
   "O"

Ideal solution: choose another font for SeaMonkey brand.

WONTFIX.

1) Looks good enough for us,
2) We need to use a font that's free to use in imagery put under an Open Source License. Bitstream Vera fulfills that, Microsoft and most other common fonts don't.

Spacing issue is still relevant.

Is there any catalog of other "open source-friendly" fonts by BitStream?
