Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5
Build Identifier: Thunderbird 1.5rc2 2005120115
The server is localhost:5000.
1. There is no "Check for new messages at startup" feature in a news account settings.
2. The server also doesn't show up in the menu of servers to get new messages from.
Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
A new account should exist (here "localhost" with "localhost:5000" server)
1. Go to a new account settings, Server settings.
2. Look for the item described in first part of the bug Details.
1. Choose File->Get New Messages For OR press the arrow at the toolbar button "Get Mail"
2. Look for the news account in the list.
Actual Results:
Both don't exist.
Expected Results:
1. There is such checkbox for an e-mail server, should be for a news server, too.
2. The news account server should be in the list.
Debian testing/Etch, GNOME.
