User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051212 SeaMonkey/1.5a
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051212 SeaMonkey/1.5a

The problem is that using SeaMonkey (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051212 SeaMonkey/1.5a) with Flashplayer installed, I cannot get some feature at CNET.com to work. Specifically, on CNET's home page, I cannot get "Today's Top Stories" or "Today's Top Videos" to respond in any way when I click on them. I can see the movements on the screen, but when I click on the "next" button or the "back" button or the "read more" button, there is no response. Other areas at the CNET site seem to work just fine and I have checked to see if Flashplayer is working at their support site and all seems OK. It is just the CNET site that I am having this problem. This problem also exists in previous builds of SeaMonkey. I also use Firefox and there is no problem. I have uninstalled and re-installed SeaMonkey as well as Fireflash several times to no avail. At this point, the problem seems to be unique to CNET.com but I have not tried it at all of the sites I frequent that this point. Again, I can see the images but I cannot get any response when I click on the buttons that are there for navigation. The same problem exists with the video section at the top of the CNET.com page.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to CNET.com
2.Click on the next button or the back button or the read more buttons in Today's top stories
3.Click on the Today's Video
4. Right click on the areas in question, call up settings.
Actual Results:
The results when I click on these buttons are that nothing happens. I am not moved to the next screen to see the report or watch the video. When I right click on the area a screen with settings comes up and when I click on settings, I see a small Flashplayer screen but it is frozen. Nothing happens when I click on it and I cannot close it.

Expected Results:
You will see the Flashplayer settings window but you will be unable to do anything with it, including an inability to close the screen. As for the buttons within the flashplayer area, nothing will happen.

This problem did not exist in Mozilla 1.7.12 or Firefox. The problem is unique to SeaMonkey on my system. On a couple of occasions, when trying to download flashplayer from their download site, SeaMonkey has crashed. A problem report screen automatically came up and I reported the problem.
