Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20051010 Firefox/1.0.7 (Ubuntu package 1.0.7)
Build Identifier: Firefox 1.5 english

Firefox can "not find" a local .html file on my harddisk if it's name contains arabic characters. The same problem appears if a .html file without (!) arabic characters in the filename is located in a directory which contains arabic characters.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a .html file and save it on the harddisk
2. rename the file that it contains arabic characters
3. open the file with Firefox

Actual Results:
"File not found" message appears

Expected Results:
open and display the file properly
Reporter, please update to firefox 1.5 if you can. this should resolve your problem.
