After I updated a previous version on Firefox to 1.5, the browser randomly crashed on various sites or on launch.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Update an earlier version of Firefox to a newer one
2. Open browser and surf


Actual Results:  
The program crashed

Expected Results:  
not have crashed

I have DOM Inspector 1.8, HTML validator 0.7.6 and Web Developer 0.9.4 extensions installed.

I solved the problem by clearing all offline content (pages, cookies, history).

It seems that Firefox 1.5 is not fully downwards compatible with offline contents.

Eh... I meant I updated a previous version _of_ Firefox into 1.5, not _on_ :8)

Yes, but did not save the IDs. Do you record the IP addresses with Talkback reports? They all occured with the same IP, 212.83.114.62

If you say so. Seems a bit different. Does clearing the offline contents solve that bug, too? I have had no crashes after clearing the offline files.
