User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051220 Firefox/1.6a1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051220 Firefox/1.6a1 I attempted to visit a friend's myspace profile, Firefox said that it couldn't find the server: "www.myspace.com". I then reloaded the page using the refresh button, and it worked fine. That was three days ago. Today, I attempted to access the same page, and the same thing happened. I used the same workaround, and it works fine. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Visit your myspace homepage (where you can edit, get new messages, and all that jazz.) 2.Visit a friend's profile (in my case: www.myspace.com/justin_e_johnson) It will sometimes give you the server not found message. Other times, it'll work just fine. Actual Results: It worked fine Expected Results: I would recieve the server not found message
Summary: Server not found occaisionally when visiting friend's Myspace profile → Server not found occasionally when visiting friend's Myspace profile
Version: unspecified → Trunk
I get the same thing frequently myself. However, do you know it's really Firefox and not their server? Sometimes pages will *load* mostly and certain generic graphics - like the standard buttons with "Message Me" "Add Me" and so on will not show up and will display the broken picture icon. I can't say for sure it's Firefox at fault here.
