But if you follow a link to the SeaMonkey news page or a particular news item such as the most excellent 1.0beta announcement, it has no link to get the product. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Read random blog entry about SeaMonkey. 2. Follow link to news item, e.g. the URL above 2. Get excited. 3. ??! So how do I get SeaMonkey? Actual Results: There's no link to get SeaMonkey. The left-hand navigation on the news page is generic and takes you out of SeaMonkey. So you have to guess URL's, or follow the link in "_SeaMonkey Project_ > News" back to top. This is important when external sites link to the news item. Expected Results: Individual news stories should include appropriate links to download, and perhaps the template for the SeaMonkey news page should include a low-key "Download SeaMonkey" (and links to the SeaMonkey Wiki pages that also have newsworthy updates.)
When I go there I see in the green box on the right side: Download Now SeaMonkey 1.0 Beta * Windows, English (11.6MB) * Linux GTK2, English (13.3MB) * Mac OS X, English (13.2MB) * Other Systems & Languages
Felix Miata, I believe you are mistaken. The URL I put in the URL field, http://www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/news.html#2005-12-19 , does NOT have a download link, hence my bug Summary. My bad for writing ambiguously "the URL above".
