When, e.g., plugin finder cannot install shockwave plugin (because it doesn't exist), it should redirect to a page about that particular media content, with a link to contact the company (e.g. a link to macromedia's tech support, for shockwave). That way, users who need to access a particular form of content can at least make their needs known with the company.
