can we get this in for 1.5.0.1
This is a problem that really bit us for 1.5. The fixes are in locale specific region.properties files. These were tested in special builds for 1.5. IMO we can add this for 1.5.0.1 without impacting stability or the testing schedule.

This really should have been put under Mozilla Localizations and left open since the patch hasn't landed. There are no Firefox target milestones for Localizations. So I am putting this under Future for now. Thanks mconner for reviewing!
