Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: version 1.0.7 (20050923) The interface for selecting what folders a user wants Thunderbird to store sent mail, drafts, trash, and (maybe) junk mail in is currently hard to use and incomplete. Apple's Mail did it pretty well (and then broke it); the easiest way to assign folders is through a right-client (or control click on Mac) popup menu when a specific mail box is selected in the main window. I.e., I should be able to right click on a mail box, select the menu "Use This Mailbox For" and then select a sub menu "Trash", "Sent Mail", "Drafts", or "Junk". This is especially important for IMAP connections when a user is trying to maintain compatibility with other clients (which is the whole point of IMAP in the first place). For example, I use Thunderbird at work, SquirrelMail while I'm on the road, and Apple Mail on my laptop. They should all be able to use the same folders for the same things! Thanks! Reproducible: Always
