Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 This is causing "freezes" not only in Firefox, but in other site searches with the auto drop down feature. I have experienced this while in my banking site, which is very annoying because I have to "force quit" out of Firefox and re-enter the banking menu (log-in, etc.). This has been a common occurrance since I upgraded to "Mozilla/5.0 ..... Firefox/1.5" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log on to the internet via Firefox 2. Start typing in the "Search" field and when the "drop down fill feature" appears the screen freezes as if it was busy retrieving (?). This will happen after a few letters are typed in the Search field. Actual Results: 3. Inorder to clear problem I have to "Force Quit" Firefox. 4. Reinititalizing Firefox and proceding very causiously I can get around this freeze problem, but it is a real pain when you are trying to execute various functions that us the "drop down fill" feature. Expected Results: 5. The software should have let me continue to type my Search word/item w/o freezing. The drop down menu usually freezes too.
