There's no way I'm going to waste my time brousing thru a list that's
only 1 inch high. It's totally unusable.
Reproducible: Always

how tall should it be? your window is 2.5" tall, and i think most people find it strange to have a nested window taking up the entire viewport.

I purposely made the window shorter before taking the shot of the window so as to make the png small.
Just got out a ruler and on my CRT screen (1280 x 1024), the scrolling area with bug list content is just under 1 1/2" inches -- doesn't have anything to do with
how big my window is. Just 3 bugs show. I liked it the old way. It very hard (for me at least) to quickly browse thru such a short list. Instead I'm spending
all my time clicking. I try to be good and always look of existing
bugs, but I won't bother with such a short list.

This *is* a dup, but I can't find what it's a dup of, so I'll confirm it.
The problem, as I recall, is that IE doesn't like how we're setting the "height" on the iframe.

This is not just an IE thing.
For me, it seems to depend on the initial window size when loading the page, with both IE and FF. If it's not very high, then the sub-window is not very high either, and it doesn't grow if I re-size the window to something bigger. If the window is big initially, then the sub-window is well-sized.
Doug, does it work this way for you, too?

I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.1. It doesn't appear to me to have anything to do with the window size. I've even tryed changing the font size up and down to see what effect that has. The physical size of the scroll window is constant with different font sizes, so with a really tiny font you see more bugs and visa versa.
I just looked at the HTML source and I'm surprised that it doesn't work for me the way you descibe it:
iframe name="somebugs" width="100%" height="80%"
I assume height="80%" means 80% of the height of the browser window -- well it's not working that way for me. Are you getting 80% of browser window height?
Is this a bug in Firefox handing of iframe? I think I'll do so experiments.

First of two HTML attachements that demonstrate the differing handling of <iframe> on Firefox and IE. Neither of which seems to work properly.

I have added two HTML attachements that appear to me to demonstrate that neither Firefox or IE display <iframe> with width and height specified in "%' correctly. Firefox respects the width specification but uses a short fixed height. IE respects the width but displays the height as 100% no matter what you specify.
IE also doesn't do the <p></p> I think.
Can anyone else confirm this? If so it should be a Firefox bug rather than a bugzilla one.
