When installing and subsequently on opening get the error "the file /res/hiddenWindow.html cannot be found. Please check the location and try again"

Browser does open but will not connect to any site.  It did copy the proxy settings correctly from IE.  I was using Firefox.  The new version did load properly but also would not find any websites even though the proxy settings are correct.
