Could you provide a Talkback ID for he crash? Talkback is not installed by default. Please reinstall Firefox with Talkbalk (choose custom install; Quality Feedback Agent). To find the ID after the crash go to <install dir>\extensions\talkback@mozilla.org\components\talkback.exe and copy the ID to this bug.
for ria.klaasen - thanks for the suggestion. I followed your suggestion, but the dialog box that came up with talkback.exe was blank, no bug IDs captured. Any other ideas? Again thanks for your help.

Timeless: how do you fix it? Thanks Ty Kelly
i wish i knew. or rather, if i knew, i'd have fixed it a long time ago :(.
I'm new to this de-bugging business and can offer no real help. I got something on another bug fron ispiked@gmail.com concerning another bug 320349 that others may want to look at. Problem stillnot fixed.
This sounds like bug 234169 -- where they use a proprietary ActiveX-wrapping plugin that hooks into and makes assumptions about opaque C++ objects. And then when those internal objects change from version to version they break. (see also earlier bug 181049 about the same plugin). If that's what this is I recommend giving up and using something like the "IE View" extension for sites like this. The site isn't really interested in supporting Firefox and doesn't support Mac or Linux. Note their system requirements say Netscape 6.1-7.1 and specifically says that Netscape 7.2 (roughly FF0.9.3) doesn't work. http://www.investors.com/service/minReq.asp IE Tab: https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=1419&application=firefox IE View: https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=35&application=firefox Note that once you've installed the Asgard Plugin any site could use it to run ActiveX controls (if you didn't crash). Better to use IE View and explicitly allow ActiveX only on the sites where you must have it.
