From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; N; Linux 2.2.14 i686; en-US; m14) BuildID: 2000031615 If you attempt to scroll the list of a drop down box using the scrollbar, you find that if the mouse happens to slip off the thumb, you start selecting on the list as if you had dragged over it *but* the items selected aren't under the cursor. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to URL http://www.mozilla.org/quality/help/bug-form.html 2. Click on the "component" drop down list and select the 3. Click the scroll bar and keep the mouse button down 4. Drag the scroll bar to the bottom and keep the button down 5. Move the mouse cursor left until it reaches the contents of the list 6. Drag up and down and watch the selection of items change as if you were dragging over the lis Actual Results: The selected item doesn't correspond to the item you drag over. Expected Results: The mouse should still be scrolling the scroll bar. Moving the mouse off shouldn't have any effect. I don't know if this bug is simply related to not having the XPToolkit scrollbars hooked up to dropdown lists. The XP scrollbars work as expected on other widgets.

This *might* be fixed by fixing bug #26508. Might want to check for resolution after blizzard's patch is checked out.

Bug 26508 is now fixed. mmastrac@ucalgary.ca - are you still seeing this problem on recent builds of Mozilla? Gerv
