How can I solve this problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open an animated .gif Actual Results: .gif does not move. Expected Results: It should have shown the animation.
Probably an extension has changed your settings. The people here can tell you how to change them back: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38
The only extension I use is ForeCastFox which forecasts the weather, and I am certain this is not the cause of my problem.
In that case a new profile and/or a new clean install will probably solve your problem.
I have just found the problem, it is the .gif file itself. I was looking at a server which hosts many animated .gif files, and they all did not work. Later I found another animated .gif file and this one did work.
