After looking at your reported bug file I see that bug 299198 looks exactly like my problem and it seems like it has been resolved but I can not undersatand the fix nor the procedure, could you please clarify?
Is there a mechanism in TBird mail similar to the one found in some products that gives the user the option of either remove or repair the application?
I like your product very much, this is only the second time I have had a problem with it.

Message Building summary file for inbox appears at bottom left
Expected Results:
Have to wait for the list of e mail messages to appear
Work like it used to do before, meaning messages display instantly
Bug 299198 has been marked as a duplicate of bug 289369. Basically, this means that while the problem has been reported before, there is not currently a known solution - my suggestions would be to try a new profile, I'm afraid.
This bug is clearly 289369 again, so it too is a duplicate.
