When a url including a portnumber (eg http://foo.bar.com:12345/xyz) times out and the retry button is pressed, the portnumber is removed from the address (becoming thus http://foo.bar.com/xyz).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to url with portnumber that times out.
2. click retry after timeout
3.

Pasted this in the address bar: http://www.nu.nl:1234/
Received an "Unable to connect" message.
Opened my firewall and clicked "Try again" and I saw that Firefox tried to establish a connection on port 1234.
If this is something different than you meant can you please provide an URL?
I am using a private URL incl a portnumber. Anyway what I see is that the port number is not diplayed in the address bar anymore. It may be a pure cosmetic thing afterall...
Weird for I really see the portnumber in the locationbar.
Have you tried it in Firefox's safemode or with a new profile?
