Description

I use the following Xkb-related configuration (from Xorg.conf):

Driver		"kbd"
Option		"CoreKeyboard"
Option		"XkbRules"	"xorg"
Option		"XkbModel"	"pc105"
Option		"XkbLayout"	"us,il"
Option      "XkbVariant" ",si1452"
Option	"XkbOptions" "grp:switch,grp:alt_shift_toggle,numpad:microsoft,lv3:switch,caps:affect_three_level"

(this includes some custom rules I've made, but these aren't the point)

I _don't_ use the gnome/KDE keyboard layout switchers. The problem is that seamonkey doesn't recognize when I switch from il to us and back (using trunk build from 2005-12-31).

Are the symptoms that the keyboard keeps behaving as a US keyboard?

Frankly, by now - 11 years later - I don't remember. These days, my layout is:

xkb_keymap {
        xkb_keycodes  { include "evdev+aliases(qwerty)" };
        xkb_types     { include "complete"      };
        xkb_compat    { include "complete"      };
        xkb_symbols   { include "pc+us+il(lyx):2+inet(evdev)+group(alt_shift_toggle)"   };
        xkb_geometry  { include "pc(pc105)"     };
};

and Alt+Shift switching is recognized by Firefox, Thunderbird and my desktop environment (LXDE). Closing as INCOMPLETE (feel free to change the resolution to INVALID if you like).
