Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051231 SeaMonkey/1.5a
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051231 SeaMonkey/1.5a
When some text in the address is first loaded (for example, when opening the browser, or when browsing to a new site), if you click in the address bar the entire text in the address is selected.
But subsequently you cannot select the entire text in the address bar by double or triple clicking it. The only way to select the entire text in the address bar is to use the mouse, or reload the page and click in the address bar (which is annoying).
Affects Seamonkey daily builds.
Affects Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051230 Firefox/1.6a1.
Doesn't affect firefox 1.5 (triple clicking in the address bar always seems to select it all, as it should).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Load a page
2.Do something to the address bar (click in it). It will be highlighted.
3.Subsequent double or triple clicking in the address bar will not select the entire text in the address bar. At most, only the delimited text under the cursor will be selected.
Expected Results:
triple clicking should select the entire text in the address bar.
