Actual Results: the log appeared Expected Results: just have main firefox screen come up
Do you have any extensions installed? If so, have updated them? For those that are compatible, have you disabled them to see if it's an extension or the browser itself?
That's not a popup winodw, it's the installer disk that opens in the Finder :-) You see the Firefox icon (color) on top of a back-and-white image that explains how to install the applciation. The folder with the "A" on it, is the icon of your applciations folder, didn't you recognize it ? It should normally ask you to "drag the Firefox icon to your application folder or desktop", but to help users that can't speak english (it's an image, so we would need a different one for every language !), it now uses icons that explain what to do.
