User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 When a page contains transparent flashes, Firefox spends much of the time to refresh the page and becomes very slow. It can even not respond to user requests. With the attached test page, sometimes when a user hits a key, the wait cursor is displayed and nothing happens. To display the requested page the user must hide and re-display the browser window or move the mouse cursor over the browser window. this problem is seen on slow platforms. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load the page (attachement) 2. hit a key Actual Results: the wait cursor is displayed and the page is not reloaded. Expected Results: The page must reload. When a new request is started, the browser must stop the animations which is not always the case.
