AFAICT (see URL), aus2 is only used for software update, and I can't really tell
why it would need a cookie. Users that disable cookies get a cookie request window
each time fx looks for updates, which is confusing and annoying.
Is this just a server config issue or is there a real use for that cookie?

It's deliberate. The AUS guys can probably explain better than me though.

What do you use the Cookie for? I didn't notice because my Cookie pref had been turned off, but one of our client asked about that.
