User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 When I try to print a web page using Firefox 1.5, my PC suddenly reboots. I tried to print from the print preview menu and it also rebooted the PC. when I clicked OK. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. tried to print same web page as before at www.kemtah.com 2. tried to print web page at www.msnbc.com 3.tried to print web page at www.kemtah.com using print preview Actual Results: Computer rebooted when I clicked OK to print to HP 970Cxi Deskjet on each occasion. Expected Results: The page to start printing on my printer. I am using Windows 2000 5.00.2195, SP4 with AMD Athlon XP 3000+. I checked my system event viewer and it recorded a bugcheck 0x00000050 (0xe4a0bb08, 0x00000000, 0xa0039f44, 0x00000001). I have the following extensions installed to Firefox 1.5, NoScript 1.1.3.5 , IE Tab 1.0.7, Tab X 0.9.2, MediaPlayerConnectivity 0.4.9.4, and SmoothWheel 0.44.7.20050605. After several reboots, I reloaded Firefox 1.5 by uninstalling the software using control panel/install/uninstall software then, downloading 1.5 from modzilla web site using IE 6.0.2800.1106, SP1 (128-bit) and installing it after it downloaded. I also disabled the NoScript extension. This did not change the result. Please note when printing a web page from www.msnbc.com, I was able to print a page using the web pages' "print this" excutable which pops up a RTF or TXT version of the web page . I did get this window to print out.
DATE: 2/02/06, Just as additional follow-up on the bug, I dissabled the extensions NoScript and IE Tab because there were some comments I found that stated it can cause some unusual bugs. After dissabling the extensions, I could print without the PC rebooting. On 1/27/06, I wanted to print out a job discription from monster.com on a job posting from Kemtah (using the print preview) and my PC rebooted. When it started, the windows login froze and when I rebooted again, my system file became corrupted. I do not believe this suspected Firefox reboot caused my system file to become corrupted however, if anyone else has experienced this problem, this could possibly happen to them.
