Narrowing down the regression window a little. I would find the regression window but don't have time at work and won't at home for a few days. fyi, bug 322722 was just submitted on OSX for 1.5.0.1 starting 1/7 -- curiously similar (xpcom+js & ymail beta) - perhaps a backported fix and it has a narrow regression window.
I think this still counts as a top100 even though that portion is in beta.

(In reply to comment #22) The link Kurt supplied in comment #16 is to the page that lets Yahoo Mail Plus customers switch to the beta version. Once you have switched to the beta version, the browser will crash anytime you goto http://mail.yahoo.com I'm not sure Yahoo (free) mail customers can use the beta yet.
I see. Given that I'm not a Yahoo customer of any sort, is there a sane way I can debug this? Toby Elliott, do you know whether there's a test account of some sort I can use? Or know who might know?
